Hana is an author, mother, and podcast host of The Whakapapa Effect. She specialises in interpreting tupuna mātauranga Māori ancestral knowledge to be able to implement and deliver it in a modern setting.

Hana is driven by a deep sense of commitment to giving back to the sources that have nourished her, by facilitating spaces for wānanga, sharing story and knowledge. Through her work, Hana fosters a sense of collective responsibility and encourages individuals to come together to build a better future for themselves, their whānau and their communities.
