Tahlia Conrad-Hinga

Designer & storyteller, passionate about elevating indigenous voice and experience.


Tahlia (she/her) is an empathetic designer and storyteller with whakapapa to Kai Tahu and Ngāi Te Rangi. She specialises in design thinking, illustration and visual design. Through her practice, Tahlia aims to influence sustainable development, and she is always searching for ways to craft stories that uplift and elevate the indigenous voice and experience.

Through mahi, she has had success in developing and prototyping products that impact regenerative development, and in using compelling visual narratives to sense-make complex systems and information.

Tahlia has a Bachelor of Design Innovation from Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington. She is part of the team at ThinkPlace, and is helping to deliver some of the Innovation Skills workshops at Festival for the Future 2023.
